2025 Election

With all but provisional ballots to count, the November 4th Municipal Election results, pending certification, point to a Democratic Sweep with the candidates retaining the five County Row Offices open this cycle and electing two endorsed Judicial Common Pleas Candidates, Clay Cauley and MacKenzie Smith to 10-year terms.

 

Statewide, voters supported the retention of Supreme Court Justices Christine Donohue, David Wecht, and Kevin Dougherty, maintaining the Court’s 5-2 Democratic majority while electing Superior Court Judge Alice Dubow, and Commonwealth Court Judge Michael Wojcik.

 

In Chester County, Democratic candidates for Controller (Nick Cherubino), Treasurer (incumbent Patricia Maisano), Clerk of Courts (Caroline Bradley), Coroner (incumbent Sophia Garcia-Jackson), and Prothonotary (Alex Christy) easily won their races for county row offices.

 

In the Owen J. Roberts School Board race April Saboe, David Harmanos, Rita Pederson and Sara Evans won running unopposed.

 

In Township races, Sean Clark was successful in West Vincent, Tyler Wren, running unopposed, won in East Nantmeal and Meaghan Wright and Illeana Casiano-Vazquez lead in their races in East Coventry as does Chad Ezra Dudonis in his North Coventry race. Because of the voter roll book confusion and the extension of Poll hours to 10 pm, the final results of those races will be determined when all of the provisional ballots are reviewed and counted.

 

This year’s Municipal Election included 95 candidates from Upper Chesco Democrats from Judges of Election to Tax Collectors to Inspectors of Election. We are still reviewing the numbers, but it appears that most were successful in their run for office.​
